I had a good time meeting with some new clients today.
I woke up at 7:15 which is early for me. I kept thinking of other things I wanted to get for my clients. Laundry, dishes, packing, bills, work packets, trash, dog walked all before 10am! Look at all the things one can get done if they don't sleep late! Then I had more time for a party and birthday shopping in the evening. And a nap! Ahhh! Summer has so many good points!
I'm still waiting for our tax check. I'd like to get my van tuned up and all. It needs quite a bit of work - ballance, rotation, oil, gas getting to engine problem, filter, wipers. I love my van! It's not the best vehicle for saying, "hey! I'm a real estate agent. I can help you with your housing needs." But it's a great minivan.
I bought that van in 1999 (I think) for less that 10K. Which means it cost about $1,000 per year to use it plus fuel and maintenance. That's awesome! But it's up to 104K miles and I'm worried about it lasting until the market picks up, then I can think about what little car I want to get.
I realized this week that my 10 year old will probably inherit my next car. That's a crazy feeling!
Oh look it's midnight! Matthew and I did pretty well at going to bed "on time" this week instead of staying up till midnight. But it's the weekend, so I guess it's ok. So if I stay up 2 more minutes, does that mean I can go ahead and eat my 2 Krispy Kreme Doughnuts that are for my breakfast??? Yum!
